We are pleased to announce Dr. Xinjun Yu recently passed her open defense and graduated with her Ph.D. She has taken a position in industry with a local company.
Mario Perera has recently joined the group, he will be working on cross-linking polymer networks containing Polypropylene Fumarate.
Xinjun's article accepted to Colloid and Polymer Science
Xinjun and Qinyuan have built on work from Xiaoping on polymer organgelators showing that the gels are shear recoverable and held together through non-covalent interactions. The gels have been made with a range of monomers and can include fluorescent groups too.
